Personal Information

Mai Hagiwara is a seiyuu and member of the Hello! Project group °C-ute. Known by the nicknames Maimai, Hagitty, and Mai-chan, she was born in Saitama, Japan. Her blood type is AB, and her favorite colors include pink, light blue, and orange. She enjoys strawberries and curry rice, while avoiding melons, watermelon, and green bell peppers. Hagiwara specializes in riding a unicycle and considers lavender her favorite flower. She dislikes cleaning and studying, and is afraid of cats and ghosts. Among her favorite films are "Harry Potter" and "Jurassic Park," and her preferred book is "Nezumi-kun no Chokki." Her favorite word is "Daisuki," her favorite season is summer, and her favorite song is "Genki Jirushi no Oomori Song" by Minimoni. She regards her squishy cheeks as her charm point. During the Hello! Project Audition, she performed "Te wo Nigitte Arukitai." Her career within Hello! Project includes stints with Hello! Project Kids, 4KIDS in 2002, °C-ute from 2005 onward, and Kira☆Pika in 2007. Hagiwara Mai joined Hello! Project as one of the fifteen selected Hello! Project Kids. She debuted as part of the 4KIDS unit featured in the film Minimoni ja Movie Okashi na Daibouken! and on Minimoni's sixth single, "Genki Jirushi no Oomori Song." Hagiwara was among the seven Hello! Project Kids who were not placed in Berryz Koubou. In 2005, these seven members went on to form °C-ute.
