Yuko Ogura was born on November 1, 1983, in Mobara, Chiba. She is a Japanese idol and model recognized for cultivating a cute, innocent schoolgirl image. Within Japan, she is widely known by the nickname Yūkorin. Ogura frequently, though not entirely seriously, identifies as Princess Apple-Momoka from the apple-shaped planet Korin. This persona stems from a middle school inside joke. At the time, having alternate names was fashionable, and a friend remarked that she resembled a Momoka. Ogura liked the suggestion and has continued to use the name ever since. Internationally, she is best known for her song "Onna no Ko♥Otoko no Ko," which served as the ending theme for the anime School Rumble.
