Born on August 19, 1973, Ahmed Best is an American voice actor and musician who first gained widespread recognition in the 2000s for voicing Jar Jar Binks within the Star Wars franchise. He subsequently transitioned to television, where he reprised his role as Jar Jar Binks in the Robot Chicken Star Wars special. Beyond acting, Best created, wrote, directed, and produced his own television series titled This Can't Be My Life. His collaboration with director George Lucas spans three films and five episodes of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In recognition of his work, he has received the Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in an Animated Television Production.
