Personal Information
Kyusaku Shimada is best recognized for portraying Kato Yasunori in the fantasy film Tokyo: The Last Megalopolis and its sequel, Tokyo: The Last War. He reprised this role in the anime adaptation, Doomed Megalopolis, and also appeared in Shura no Toki: Age of Chaos. In the video game realm, Shimada provided the Japanese voice for Hades in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. His performance as Kato served as the inspiration for the character M. Bison in the Street Fighter series.
