Sanshi Katsura, whose real name is Shizuya Kawamura (河村静也), is a renowned television presenter and rakugo artist in Japan. Katsura is his professional stage name, which carries significant honor. While primarily known for his work in variety and traditional performance, he has also lent his voice to several non-anime productions. His filmography includes the role of Isamu Kondo in the 1987 Japanese production "Gorufu yoakemae," Samejima in the 1989 film "Ni ju-seiki shonen dokuhon" (released internationally as "Circus Boys"), and Shigemaru Kuroda in the 1988 movie "Teito monogatari" (known in English as "Doomed Megalopolis"). Additionally, he provided the voice for the character Old Man Piccolo in the animated film "Porco Rosso."
