Milo Anthony Ventimiglia is an American television actor widely recognized for portraying Peter Petrelli in the NBC series Heroes. He first gained significant attention from audiences during a three-year run on The WB's Gilmore Girls, where he played Jess Mariano, the love interest of Rory Gilmore, from 2001 until his final guest appearance in 2006. Following his own series on The WB, The Bedford Diaries, a recurring role as Meg Pryor's romantic interest on NBC's American Dreams, and a performance as Rocky Balboa's son in the sixth and final film of the franchise, Rocky Balboa, Ventimiglia achieved a major breakthrough in 2006.
