Personal Information
Born on June 20, 1941, in Kyobashi (now part of Chuo, Ginza), Tokyo, Japan, Kouji Ishizaka is the stage name of Mutou Heikichi (武藤兵吉). An accomplished actor and narrator, he established and currently serves as the representative director of Ishizaka Musical Enterprise (石坂ミュージカル・エンタープライズ). Ishizaka completed his higher education at the Department of Law, Keio University. His acting career began in 1958 while he was still in high school, performing in the drama お源のたましい. Following his university graduation, he became a member of the Gekidan Shiki theater troupe.
