Born in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, Airi Eino is often referred to by the nickname Ai-chan. As a member of the Wake up, Girl! idol group, she shares the reputation of being an otaku with fellow members Minami Tanaka, Miyu Takagi, and Yoshino Aoyama. Eino is known for her deep admiration of Tooru Oikawa, a character from the anime series Haikyuu!!.
