Olivia Lufkin, professionally known as OLIVIA, is a bilingual Japanese American singer-songwriter. Born to an American father and a Japanese mother, she has two younger siblings: musician Jeffrey Lufkin, with whom she frequently collaborates, and independent musician Caroline Lufkin. Lufkin launched her solo career following her tenure in the Japanese girl group D&D. She achieved mainstream success in 2006 by composing songs for the fictional band Trapnest under the alias Olivia Inspi' Reira, tracks that were featured in the anime adaptation of Nana. Mangaka Ai Yazawa personally selected her to provide the singing voice for the character Reira. She is married to musician Owen Vallis, and the couple welcomed their first son, Atlas, in 2014.
