Born in the United States, Miharu Kobayashi is a graduate of the Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyuujo (NichiNare). She performed under the name Kobayashi Miharu until 2018, at which point she changed her professional name to Miharu Sakurai. In recent years, she has moved away from television voice acting to focus primarily on her work as a stage actress with the theatrical troupe MIX.
