Scott Eric Weinger, whose name is pronounced wine-gur, was born on October 5, 1975, in New York, New York. An American actor, writer, and producer, he is best recognized for voicing the title character in Disney's Aladdin. Weinger returned to this role for two direct-to-video sequels, a Disney Channel television series, and the Kingdom Hearts series. He also gained prominence for portraying Steve Hale, the boyfriend of D.J. Tanner, on Full House for two seasons. Currently, Weinger works as a writer and producer for television.
