Akoya Sogi, born Yasuyo Sogi on September 27, 1968, in Kyoto, Japan, is a Japanese seiyuu. Standing at 158 cm with a weight of 46 kg, she has a blood type of B and measurements of 80/60/87/2.5. Currently affiliated with the Ricomotion agency, Sogi is best known for voicing Mai Shiranui across the Fatal Fury, Capcom vs. SNK, and King of Fighters fighting game franchises. She also reprised this role for the anime adaptation The King of Fighters: Another Day. While widely recognized for her portrayal of Mai, Sogi maintains a prolific career across various entertainment sectors. Her credits extend beyond voice acting to include appearances in Japanese TV dramas, live-action films, and stage plays, as well as several television commercials.
