Personal Information
Jonathan Lipow was born in New York City, where he began mimicking surrounding sounds and voices at a very young age. By eleven, he was performing in school stage plays and musicals. At thirteen, his aptitude for the piano emerged, allowing him to play classical favorites by ear without reading sheet music; this same auditory gift enabled him to learn songs on the keyboard as well. During high school, he received awards for Vocal Music, Drama, and the Theater Workshop. In college, he pursued a major in Broadcasting while gaining experience at both the campus Alternative Rock station and the National Public Radio station. Eventually, it became clear that his original music and voice work best showcased his talents. After spending four years in Atlanta, Georgia, to refine his skills and build a portfolio, he relocated to Los Angeles to be closer to the global center of motion pictures and television, aiming to voice animated characters. A veteran of stage and radio, Lipow now resides in Los Angeles, California, where he enjoys a rewarding career in voiceover.
