Personal Information

Annick Cisaruk is a French voice actress and singer who honed her craft at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique under the guidance of instructors including Marcel Bluwal, Antoine Vitez, Pierre Debauche, and Jean-Pierre Miquel, while simultaneously supporting herself by singing in the metro. Her professional theatrical career commenced in 1980 with a role in Brecht's Le Petit Mahagonny (Mahagonny Songspiel). By 1983, she had performed in Brecht's Songs and portrayed Polly in L'Opéra de quat'sous, a production directed by Jean-Louis Martin Barbaz at the C.D.N. Nord-Pas de Calais. Beginning in 1995, Cisaruk dedicated her performances to reciting poems by Aragon set to music by Léo Ferré, alongside works by Boris Vian, Barbara, and Ferré himself. From 2000 to the present, she has released six albums, two of which are entirely devoted to Ferré. These recordings feature accordionist David Venitucci, specifically L'Âge d'or in 2010 and Où va cet univers? in 2016. In September 2015, during the "Les Nuits de Nacre" festival in Tulle, she debuted a new show of original songs at the Théâtre des sept collines. Titled La Vie en vrac, the repertoire was composed by Venitucci and written by Yanowski, the singer-songwriter of Cirque des Mirages, based on Cisaruk's own life. This collection was subsequently recorded in the studio and released as an album by EPM Musique in 2017.
