Born on February 17, 1952, in Britain, Garry Chalk is a Canadian actor and voice artist who has also performed under the name Gary Chalk. He is widely recognized for providing one of the voices of Optimus Prime within the Transformers franchise. His acting credits include appearances in The Fly II, Freddy vs. Jason, Deck the Halls, Watchmen, and Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins.
