Born on October 30, 1987, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, Kana Akutsu is a seiyuu currently affiliated with Mausu Promotion. Following her graduation from Tochigi Prefectural Tochigi Commercial High School, she moved to Tokyo to study at the TOKYO ANNOUNCE GAKUIN Professional Training College of Performing Arts. Upon completing her training and establishing herself as a professional voice actress, she signed with Mausu Promotion. Her debut role was voicing Henrietta in the series Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino.
