Born in Kanagawa prefecture, Rina Yamaguchi is known for her proficiency in Othello. It is believed she joined EXPG Yokohama around 2015, as she first appeared in related articles and imagery during that period. While at EXPG, she participated in vocal training and performed alongside Toa. She also attended dance classes taught by ITO, an instructor frequently associated with Girls2. Yamaguchi launched her professional career in 2019 as the antagonist and key supporting character Sarai in Secret x Heroine Phantomirage. She reprised this role in 2020, this time as a main character in Police x Heroine Lovepatrina, continuing her involvement in the Girls x Heroine franchise.
