Hiro Suzuhira is a Japanese female mangaka, character designer, and illustrator. She has known Aoi Nishimata since their high school days, and together they introduced their first work, Ritual, in 1996. In 2000, Suzuhira joined BasiL to serve as the illustrator for Bless: Close Your Eyes, Open Your Mind. Following the release of Bless, she left the studio to work as a freelance illustrator. During this freelance period in 2001, she illustrated a character for Welcome to Pia Carrot 3. In 2003, she reunited with Aoi Nishimata at Navel, where she worked on Shuffle! before contributing to Soul Link and Tick! Tack!. On February 23, 2007, Suzuhira departed from Navel due to health concerns and returned to freelance illustration.
