Personal Information
Hellena Taylor was born in Hammersmith, West London, and raised 35 miles southwest of the capital near the towns of Ascot and Windsor. During her teenage years, she performed with both the Surrey Youth Theatre and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. She subsequently trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, known as LAMDA. Her filmography includes the role of Greta in Whit Stillman's Barcelona for Castlerock, alongside appearances in The Sweetest Thing, The Hunt, and the recently completed Cockpit. She has also just finished filming for the adaptation of the children's novel Ways to Live Forever. Beyond acting, Taylor works extensively as a voiceover artist across various media, including television announcements, film trailers, radio spots, and commercials for TV, internet, and radio. Her diverse portfolio covers sat-nav and GPS systems, voice matching, looping, narration, spoken ring tones, anime, cartoons, and video games. Notable recent video game credits include the title role in Bayonetta for SEGA and the female lead in Saboteur for Electronic Arts and Pandemic Studios.
