Personal Information
Ion Momoyama is a Japanese seiyuu and singer affiliated with Pro-Fit, hailing from Hokkaido. Standing 161 cm tall with blood type O, she is a graduate of the Pro Fit Voice Actor Training School, where she was part of the 11th generation. Although she initially aspired to become a shojo manga artist due to her love for drawing, she abandoned her junior high school manga projects following criticism. Her interest in voice acting emerged during high school, fueled by her passion for anime and manga, but her parents objected to this career path, leading her to attend nursing school instead. While working as a nurse, she enrolled in the professional training school and joined the agency one year later. She holds a qualification as an associate nurse. Momoyama gained recognition in 2013 as Kanna Makino in her first regular role in Tamako Market. On October 1, 2014, she became a full-time member of Pro-Fit, and on August 27, 2014, she made her musical debut with the single "Ienai Ice Cream." She is often referred to by the nickname "Juri-chan." During her high school years, she participated in the 1st Music Ray'n audition for a super voice actor, where she met Chisato Mori; the two have remained friends since that time. Additionally, Momoyama is known for her work as a voice manga artist under the name Otokoto and frequently focuses on adult games. She is the second of three daughters.
