Tatsuya Matsuki previously worked as an assistant to both Kouji Miura and Kento Matsuura. On August 8, 2020, he was arrested on suspicion of sexual misconduct involving two junior high school girls. Following this incident, he returned to the industry on August 6, 2025, under the pseudonym Miki Yatsunami to write Seisou no Shinrishi for Shogakukan. Shogakukan disclosed this return amidst public backlash regarding their decision to continue employing Shouichi Yamamoto despite his own similar offenses.
