Takuji Kawakubo is a Japanese actor born on December 17, 1981, in Tokyo. He gained prominence for his television roles, including Ooda Shingo in Kamen Rider 555 on TV Asahi in 2003. The following year, he portrayed Komon Kazuki in the TBS series Ultraman Nexus. His television credits continued with appearances in Beni no Monsho on Tokai TV in 2006, Asuka Musashi in Fuma no Kojiro on Tokyo MX in 2007, and a role in the NHK production Ghost Friends in 2009. In film, Kawakubo appeared in three releases during 2004: Saishu Heiki Kanojo, Devilman, and Shimotsuma Monogatari.
