Rina Chinen is a Japanese actress and former singer active in both film and theater. Born in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, she received her training in dance and vocal performance at the Okinawa Actors School, an institution that has also produced notable alumni such as Namie Amuro and the group SPEED. In her personal life, Chinen was married to model Kentarou Nakamura from 2004 until 2007. She later tied the knot again in 2016 with actor Yoshio Inoue.
