Personal Information
Born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, Yuko Sasaki is a Japanese pop singer who launched her career in 1997. She entered the industry after winning an ASAYAN vocal audition, which led to a recording contract with Pioneer. In 2000, Sasaki joined the group Plum Planets, but following the band's disbandment in 2003, she withdrew from the music scene. She returned in 2006 and signed with Columbia Records.
