Hiroto Akiya is a seiyuu born in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Beyond voice acting, he serves as the bassist for the rock band GYROAXIA, a group associated with Bushiroad's ARGONAVIS project. The band has been on an indefinite hiatus following their final live concert on January 11, 2026. In his personal life, Akiya enjoys songwriting, including lyrics, composition, and arrangement, as well as desktop music production and playing the keyboard. His other interests include basketball, collecting succulents and glass pens with ink, maintaining aquariums, and visiting cafes.
