Personal Information
Elaine A. Clark has dedicated more than 35 years to the voice-over industry, working as an actor, author, app developer, director, coach, audio engineer, producer, and casting director. She owns Voice One and Voice One Productions and founded Voice One in San Francisco, the first full-time voice-over training academy. Her best-selling book, There's Money Where Your Mouth Is, serves as a textbook in colleges and universities worldwide. Clark also created two applications designed to enhance diction, breath support, resonance, melody, and precision. Activate Your Voice offers a powerful five-minute warm-up, while Adding Melody To Your Voice features a 16-minute training video alongside an interactive area for listening, recording, and playback practice. Her latest book, Voice Overs for Podcasting, is scheduled for release in the latter half of 2020. On screen, Clark appears as the futuristic game show host in the film Sorry To Bother You, and gamers can hear her as the dispatcher in Mafia III. Throughout her extensive career, she has recorded hundreds of commercials, narrations, and toy voices. She has cast, directed, or performed in nearly 100 video games and a couple of anime series, including JoJo's Bizaare Adventure and Saikano. Additionally, she has looped dialogue for several movies such as Super8, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Master, and Titan A.E., and has worked on a handful of audiobooks. Clark has trained and launched the careers of thousands of voice actors and looks forward to seeing many of her past and current students while meeting new ones.
