Meanwhile, Gakurouta harbors unrequited feelings for Sousuke Kusama, his heterosexual childhood friend and the gardener at their home. As Yuriko and Gakurouta adapt to their unconventional marriage, Gakurouta starts uncovering details about his wife's passions, while Yuriko strives to hide her fujoshi inclinations and watches Gakurouta's relationship with Sousuke. Through these experiences, the couple finds a surprising comfort in each other's presence. Although they won't develop romantic feelings for one another, their mutual understanding brings them closer than either could have anticipated.
