Dissatisfied with the growing influence of Western customs on traditional practices, Lee Dan Ah chooses to wear a Korean hanbok on her first day of high school, ignoring the mandatory uniform. The progressive principal disciplines her for violating school rules but offers her a chance: if she can gain the support of 70% of students and faculty for her cause within six months, the school may permit the hanbok as an alternative uniform. Yet Dan Ah struggles greatly, finding it hard to recruit even a handful of members to start a hanbok club.
