An entirely new storyline set in an independent spin-off, the narrative unfolds after a catastrophic global conflict. Deunan Knute and Briareos survive as hired mercenaries in the ruins of New York City. While Deunan still believes in the legendary high-tech paradise called Olympus, Briareos remains skeptical. Their path crosses with a mysterious young woman and her cyborg guardian, who claim to be on a vital assignment for Olympus. They reveal that they are being hunted by a highly skilled group of cyborg mercenaries trying to stop their mission.
