Sennju, an envoy of the Bodhisattva Kannon, descends to the mortal realm to locate and safeguard the reincarnation of the Buddha Mirokou. Upon his arrival on Earth, he rescues a young girl from a band of threatening men. Could this girl be the one he is searching for, and will she trust his assertion that he is a Buddha dispatched by Kannon? This collection contains several self-contained stories: Volume 1 includes the pilot Butsu Zone, Volume 2 presents Death Zero, and Volume 3 introduces Itako no Anna.
