Dark Dash, abbreviated as DD, is an ESP ability that only reveals its true nature at night or in darkness. When activated, a specific area of the user's skin turns dark grey. The extent and coverage of this dark grey coloration determines the user's strength. Many individuals possess this DD power, leading them to form groups. Some wish to misuse their abilities. Sheiha, who can turn his entire body dark grey, gathered DDs and established a company that appears normal from the outside—STAD (Special Training Association of Dark Dash)—but internally conducts assassinations. STAD also owns a large, prestigious private school where it recruits most of its DD users. The main character is Tenka, the boy in the image. Tenka has DD power, and his entire body turns black, which is stronger than dark grey. However, he has been hiding this because he had no knowledge of Dark Dash. One day, Dr. Suoh approaches Tenka, knowing he is a DD but unaware that he is the most powerful DD ever born. Dr. Suoh is anti-STAD, opposing their murderous activities. There is also a person with Dr. Suoh named Lenong, who loves Sheiha and is loved by him in return. However, Lenong fled from Sheiha after he once attempted to rape her.
