Parasites are organisms that take the form of the most important person to their host, feeding off them. Eito is a parasite who killed his own host because he was never loved, and now lives by mimicking that person's appearance. One day, he encounters another parasite of the same species, Hachi. Despite having similar circumstances, Hachi is free-spirited like a stray cat, and as Eito spends time with him, a strong attachment gradually develops within him. To keep Hachi by his side, Eito enters a physical relationship with him, but he cannot grasp Hachi's true feelings. Eventually, Eito realizes that Hachi's purpose is not simply "finding food."
