Swords of Texas

Set in the same universe as Scout, Timothy Truman's futuristic Western, Swords of Texas centers on a scrappy band of mercenaries who venture deep into Communist-held Mexico, chasing after cash, firearms, and a dose of payback. Banner, Jade, and their crew are hardened fighters, and while readers might find themselves cheering for them, they are hardly models of virtue; they work for profit and don't pretend otherwise. This four-issue limited series comes from writer Chuck Dixon (Nightwing, Birds of Prey) and artist Ben Dunn (Ninja High School), delivering one adrenaline rush after another.
