In 1992, Shintaro Kago started serializing what was meant to be the first full-length manga of his career. However, the magazine carrying it, Bandai's Cyber Comix, was canceled in October of that year, leaving the manga unfinished to this day; only three chapters survive. Kago later repurposed the core premise—a girl capable of shifting between the real world and a cyberspace-like spiritual realm—in a one-shot called "ataraxia" and later in the full-length work "Six Consciousnesses Thought Changing Ataraxia."
