In 2055, four years after the events of Danball Senki W, LBX battles have become the most popular pastime globally, with professional leagues established so players can pursue it as a career. Fourteen-year-old Arata enrolls at the prestigious Kamui Daimon Integrated Academy on Kamui Island, near Japan. Renowned worldwide as the top school for training LBX players and mechanics, its admissions process is extremely strict, requiring candidates to have won at least three official tournaments. Alongside his fellow platoon members, Arata competes against rivals and uncovers the hidden secrets of the academy.
