Garnet and Krys, a pair of young girls, find themselves stranded on a war-ravaged planet inside the Walpurgis system. Alongside their robot companion Carrot, they journey across the alien wasteland, enjoying small yet cheerful excursions. Even in the face of the bleak environment, they cling to the belief that their distress beacon will eventually be received, bringing about their salvation.
