Ryuuichi Naruhodou has always dreamed of becoming a defense attorney whose mission is to protect the innocent. As a fledgling lawyer learning under the guidance of Chihiro Ayasato, he quickly discovers that the courtroom is a harsh arena. In these intense trials, Ryuuichi must rely on his sharp mind and perceptive skills to untangle the mysteries behind each case and prove that his clients are not guilty. In Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igi Ari!, Ryuuichi takes on a series of cases intended to clear the names of the wrongly accused. His path is filled with obstacles, most notably the relentless prosecutor Reiji Mitsurugi, who stops at nothing to secure convictions. Against such odds, Ryuuichi must carefully examine evidence and scrutinize witness testimonies to uncover the truth. With a firm "objection!," the courtroom drama begins.
