After dying in an accident, a young man is reborn as a baby in another world. He is taken in by the patriotic hero known as the Sage, Merlin Wolford, who gives him the name Shin. Raised as Merlin's grandson, Shin absorbs his grandfather's teachings and gains astonishing power. However, when he turns fifteen, Merlin admits, "I forgot to teach him common sense!" Thus begins the unconventional otherworldly fantasy life of this abnormal boy.
