Akari Toshiba is a cheerful, high-spirited girl. One morning, while sprinting to make her train to school, she crashes into a menacing student wearing a mask and sunglasses. Later that day, Akari is summoned by a crew of delinquents known as the "Tora no Ane Gang" and makes her way behind the gym. But what awaits her there is not a punishment—it's a love confession from the "Major Bancho of the Shadow." Kageru Tsukiyomi, a brooding boy who serves as the gang's leader, declares he fell in love at first sight with the "cosmos-like" Akari.
