In 1972, during the Apollo 17 moon mission, humanity discovered a mysterious hypergate that connected to Mars. Through this gate, astronauts found advanced technology called "Aldnoah," which prompted a large-scale human migration to Mars and the establishment of the Vers Empire to govern the planet. Over time, Martians grew bitter toward Earth's abundant resources and declared war on their homeworld. This conflict ended with the catastrophic "Heavens Fall," where the hypergate was destroyed, obliterating the Moon and causing severe damage to Earth through meteor strikes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Fifteen years after the war, a fragile ceasefire holds. Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia travels to Earth hoping to foster lasting friendship between the two worlds. However, some factions are discontent with the war's end and eager to rekindle conflict. When terrorists attempt to assassinate the young princess, Martian forces launch an attack, intent on fully conquering and subjugating Earth's population.
