After his father passed away, Naruse Akira turned to video games as an escape, while his mother turned to alcohol. He spends nearly all his time playing games, which gets him into trouble at his private school and worries his childhood friend Hoju. Akira is exceptionally skilled at war games because he has a talent for reading his opponents. One day, he accidentally downloads a strange game called "Revolt" onto his phone. The game tasks him with orchestrating a revolution, and its graphics look incredibly realistic. At the end, he discovers that he was actually issuing real-world commands, and the game was part of a scouting process for a company that specializes in managing revolutions. Now they want him to become their commander and help them save the world.
