In "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," Makoto Konno stands at the edge of a sudden and unforeseen conclusion to her typical seventeen-year-old existence, until she uncovers an extraordinary talent for time travel. At first, Makoto employs this ability to resolve daily nuisances, ranging from poor exam results to an awkward confession from her closest friend. As she repeatedly jumps through time with increasing frequency, she comes to understand that every alteration she makes triggers unforeseen consequences with serious repercussions. If her time-leaping power were to vanish, the resulting disaster could be dire.
