Matsutarou Sakaguchi is a giant, rough man whose strength far surpasses that of ordinary people. Unlike the typical shounen manga protagonist, he never says words like "work hard," "strive," or "dream." Yet he is stronger than anyone and unmatched in sumo wrestling. His own easygoing nature is his greatest weakness. He matures into a full-fledged sumo wrestler.
