Vampire Knight
ヴァンパイア騎士 (ナイト)
At Cross Academy, an exclusive boarding school, the student body is split into two groups: the Day Class and the Night Class. The school's prefects, Yuuki Cross and Zero Kiryuu, keep order during the shift changes between the classes. The Night Class students are captivating, but they hide a dangerous truth—they are vampires. Yuuki and Zero act as guardians, keeping this secret from the unsuspecting Day Class. Yuuki, adopted by the academy's chairman, performs her duties with passion and commitment, which lets her stay close to Kaname Kuran, the Night Class leader, who once saved her and is now her secret crush. In contrast, Zero holds a deep hatred for vampires and sometimes uses deadly force against them. The central question is whether these two species can peacefully coexist within Cross Academy's boundaries. Only time will tell. A special one-shot is included: Volume 17: Watashi to Fukigen na Panya-san (The Sour-Faced Baker and Me).
