In the world of divine service, messengers are responsible for assisting gods, maintaining their purity, and protecting them from all dangers. Despite his ambitions, Shin remains without an assignment and has a reputation for causing trouble. His tiny wings make him unable to fly and unsuitable for the role. After another disruptive incident at the peak, Shin is finally assigned to a god—though this deity lives at the distant "Mountain 32." Thrilled to have a master, Shin eagerly begins his duties, serving the enormous, stationary god. As Shin carries out his responsibilities, the disappearance of other gods and messengers raises concern among the locals.
