In this European nation, the duty of defending the homeland has always fallen to its women while the men fought overseas. The young princess has carried on this age-old tradition, leading six other female pilots in shielding their country from Nazi Germany's forces through their extraordinary aerial combat abilities. Yet the royal bloodline has long been plagued by the god of war, and the princess has recently fallen prey to its curse. A humble servant boy named Pokka may be the one destined to break this malevolent deity's grip.
