Kodaka Hasegawa, a newly transferred student with naturally blond hair, struggles to make friends at his new school after being mistaken for a delinquent. He crosses paths with Yozora, a solitary classmate who often speaks energetically with her imaginary friend, Tomo. Recognizing their mutual loneliness, the two decide to create a club dedicated to helping friendless individuals. The club, named "Rinjin-bu," gradually draws in other isolated students. Through activities like cooking and playing games, the members attempt to navigate the challenges of building genuine friendships. Can this odd gathering of socially awkward people succeed in forging real connections?

Background
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai appeared on the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! ranking under Best Light Novel category twice; 2nd place in 2011 and 6th place in 2012. It was adapted into a live-action film which was released in Japan on February 1, 2014. The series has been published in Italian by Edizioni BD under the J-POP imprint since February 28, 2013.
