In Kamisama Kazoku, Samataro has a life that provides him with everything anyone could desire: a caring family, two lovely sisters, a devoted best friend, and a protective guardian angel. His days are smooth and free of problems, as you would expect for the child of a god. But this incessant sheltering and meddling by his godly parents causes Samataro to grow bored and impatient. He begins to question whether he can become truly independent if he demands that they stop interfering all the time.
