Yuri Kuma Arashi

Long ago, the asteroid Kumaria broke apart in space, and its fragments rained down on Earth as a meteor shower. After that, bears all over the world started attacking humans without any reason. The resulting struggle, called "Man vs. Bear," saw bears eating humans and humans shooting bears, fueling a never-ending cycle of hatred and bloodshed. Eventually, a huge "Wall of Extinction" was built to keep humans and bears apart, bringing a shaky peace. In the human realm, Kureha Tsubaki and Sumika Izumino—students at Arashigaoka Academy who are both friends and lovers—are left by themselves one morning and see the "Yuri Flower" blooming in a flower bed that means a lot to them. All of a sudden, the Bear Alarms go off, warning of a bear attack on people. As events unfold, doubts arise: are these really the same bears? One enigma leads to another, peeling back layers one by one.
