Tetsuwan Atom

In the year 2003, Japan has become a futuristic society filled with robots. One of these robots is Tobio, created by the genius Dr. Tenma to replace his deceased child. However, Dr. Tenma becomes dissatisfied with Tobio's flaws and eventually abandons him. Tobio is then taken in by the kind Professor Ochanomizu, a champion of robot equality, who becomes his new guardian and gives him the name Astro Boy. With seven special powers and a strength of 100,000 horsepower, Astro Boy fights to protect Japan and the world from many dangerous enemies, striving to show the innate goodness that all robots possess.
